ETR

ETR is the first single informatical application with the largest number of direct users in the history of Hungary.
ETR has been designed for the higher education taking the Internet technology for its base. In case of the widest application, the system may account for three hundred thousand users.
Besides the informatical investment of the system it provides a kind of educational-organizational theory, which would carry of great importance in the long run, covering all the fields coming up. The system handles the data and information of the basic activities of the higher educational institutions. It meets the informational requirements of the institutions and of the Educational Ministry. It supports the introduction and registration of the credit system countrywide. And it also covers the student ID records handling.
The complexity of ETR is due to the institutional versatility, to the large number of users and also to its multi-functional features.
The system plan, designed with the help of the experience gained from the designs and applications of former systems used in the higher education, was admitted with the co-operation of the Educational Ministry and the Quality Assurance (QA).
The elaborated solution carries the most economical information technology. It means financial advantages for the broader extension and for the maintenance in the long run.
